Objective
The course "Pedagogical Training in Animal Science and Pasture Management" aims to equip graduate students with the necessary skills for teaching in higher education, specifically in the field of Animal Science and Pasture Management. It seeks to develop essential pedagogical competencies, including mastery of teaching and learning strategies, lesson planning, the use of active methodologies, and didactic resources. Additionally, the course encourages reflection on ethical, inclusive, and attitudinal aspects within the educational context. It also aims to integrate teaching practice with research activities, providing comprehensive training for future professors and professionals in the field.

Content
History and transformations of higher education, with a focus on the current context. Teacher-student relationships and strategies for student engagement and participation, aiming for an efficient pedagogical relationship. Teaching planning for structuring lesson plans with clear objectives aligned with the learning process. Active learning methodologies focused on applying techniques that promote student-centered learning. Use of digital tools for hybrid and remote teaching. Evaluation strategies with modern assessment methods adapted to the contemporary demands of higher education. Ethical and attitudinal development, encouraging reflections on ethics and social responsibility in higher education. Organization and optimization of class time and space in academic activities. Applicability of didactic concepts for teaching Animal Science and Pastures. Effective communication in academic settings and the development of communication skills for higher education. Addressing issues related to inclusion and diversity within the academic context. Identification and discussion of specific pedagogical challenges in teaching Animal Science and Pastures. Strategies for effectively integrating research and teaching, applying them in the field of Animal Science and Pastures. Emerging technologies and new pedagogical approaches to improve learning.
