Objective
A) Addressing the bioclimatic concepts in animal production and its effects in the production environment; B) Discussing the links between climate, facilities, and production, combining the theoretical concepts and the practical aspects of management; C) To elucidate the effects of climate on the development of production and the control mechanisms in situations of thermal stress from the engineering point of view and the built environment

Content
1. Adaptation and evolution history production systems in the country;
2. Thermoregulation: conceptualization, thermal equilibrium, homeothermy, thermogenesis, thermoneutral zones for different products;
3. Thermal energy transfer mechanisms: concepts, radiation transmissivity, emissivity, absorption, heat exchange;
4. Psychometrics: characterization of the air, and main properties, calculations and use of software;
5. Mechanisms of thermal control: natural ventilation, forced cooling systems;
6. Environment and Comfort: environmental, climatic characterization, thermal evaluation conditions, thermal comfort indices. Case Study;
7. Thermal Requirements of different production systems: pig, cows, poultry and hens.
8. Bioclimatic Projects: constructive aspects, building materials, geometry and location, preventive measures, small projects analysis and case studies;
