Objetivo
Proporcionar a reflexão, análise e treinamento fundamental sobre a metodologia de pesquisa e comunicação científica na área de Ciência Animal e Pastagens com base nas seguintes atividades: reconhecimento da importância da Pós-Graduação e da Universidade diante da produção, evolução e disseminação do conhecimento científico; identificação das características do trabalho científico – objetividade e neutralidade científica, fidedignidade e ética; identificação e utilização das normas para elaboração de trabalhos científicos, assim como de recursos de informática auxiliares.

Conteúdo
A origem da comunicação científica. Comunicação científica e comunicação de ciência popular. Categorias de publicação científica. Ética na publicação científica. Busca, citações e listagem de referências bibliográficas. O ABC da comunicação científica e o sistema IMRED. Elaboração de resumos e ‘abstracts’. Fundamentos da redação científica. O texto científico original e a versão para língua inglesa.
