Objective
This course aims to provide doctoral students a more comprehensive, updated and advanced training on various topics in Genetics and Breeding.

Content
The program consists of Special Topics within the following items: Quantitative Genetics, Population Genetics, Genetics of Microorganisms, Molecular Genetics, Cytogenetics, Evolution, Biotechnology in Agriculture and Agroindustry, Experimental techniques for genetic breeding, Germplasm: maintenance and use, Efficiency of breeding methods, Strategies for simultaneous breeding of multiple traits, Genotype by Environment Interaction, Molecular techniques applied to breeding.
