Objective
To provide training on written and spoken scientific communication in the area of Soils and Plant
Nutrition based on the evaluation of the items of a scientific publication and the presentation of the
results in scientific events.

Content
Categories of scientific publication. Ethics in scientific publication. Search, citations and bibliographic
references. Oral presentation techniques in public; the IMRED system (Introduction, Material & Methods,
Results & Discussion). Elaboration of abstracts and abstracts. Fundamentals of scientific writing.
