Objective
This course aims to provide the basis for solving mathematical problems applied to the Agricultural Engineering and Biosystems. It also aims to improve analysis techniques, developing models and solutions used in research projects.

Content
1 - REVIEW OF DERIVATIVES;
2 REVIEW Of INTEGRALS;
3 - VARIOUS FUNCTIONS VARIABLE: Two or more variables functions. Settings. Partial derivatives. Maximum and minimum functions of several variables. Lagrange multipliers and constrained optimization. total differential and its applications. The method of least-squares.
4 - Ordinary Differential Equations: Definitions, classification and solutions. First order differential equations: equations to separate variables, equations to separable variables, homogeneous equations, linear equations, exact differential equations, geometric and physical applications and other applications. Linear differential equations of second order; homogeneous linear differential equations of second order with constant coefficients, applications of linear differential equations of second order.
