Objective
The digitization of the economy leads to the insertion of new tools and production strategies. In this
context, machinery provide data that can be turned in information to improve processes, sometimes in
real time.
The course is aimed at presenting the concepts involved in the digitalization of production with
emphasis on mechanized resources, considered no longer just as performers of operations, but as
source of information for planning, capable of adjusting itself to environmental conditions and allowing
to change processes by feeding decision support systems. Examples of machine-obtained databases as
well as their processing are presented.
Target audience are graduate students from various areas of knowledge focused on process
optimization in production chains that involve machines.

6) Electronics embedded in harvesting machines and examples of use
7) Electronics embedded in machines for crop treatment
8) Standards for information gathering and exchange between agricultural machines and implements
9) Data integration of agricultural machinery and its use for mechanized system management
10) System Data Integration: Environmental Variables and Machines
11) Data processing and knowledge extraction techniques
12) Operational performance indicators development.
