Informações do Palestrante/Biography: Samuel Balieiro is a visiting researcher from the Thünen Institute of Farm Economics* in Germany, which he joined in November 2014 as a Research Associate. He works mainly with the *agri benchmark* Cash Crop team managing projects related to crop production in South America and Australia (oilseed and grain) as well as the heading the sugar network within the *agri benchmark *network. Mr.

Balieiro earned his BSc. degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Sao Paulo (ESALQ) in 2010 and his MSc degree in International Agribusiness and Rural Development Economics (SIA) from the Georg-August University Göttingen (Germany), where he is currently pursuing his PhD in Agricultural Economics.
