Objective
To promote a training for the identification of plant species, involving the various forms of life, based on field collection, laboratory preparation and identification of phanerogamic botanical material, using pertinent bibliography; for physiognomic, floristic and successional characterization of the main regional phytogeographic units.

Content
1 - field training for collection of botanical material; 2 - concepts of plant morphology. 3 - concepts of plant systematics (definition, nomenclatural rules, collections, etc.). 4 - Methodology for identification of families, genus and plant species, in the various forms of life. Use of analytical key. Morphological characterization of plant species. Construction of analytical keys for the identification of plant species, using specific computer programs. Methodology for recognition and characterization in the field of phytogeographic units.
