Objective
The objective is to deepen the knowledge on the processes of transformation of the wood in panels, discussing the influence variables, the characteristics and properties of the different types of panels and your use possibilities.

Content
1 - Wood Adhesives: Physical-chemical basis of the adhesion, natural and synthetic adhesives. 2 - Wood bonding process: Adhesives formulation, factors that affect bonding quality. 3 - Fiberboards: Production methods, characteristics and applications. 4 - Particleboards: Production methods, characteristics and applications. 5 - Plywood: Wood veneers production, plywood manufacture, characteristics and applications. Norms for classification and qualification. Quality control. 6 - Other types of panels: Developments, technological and market tendencies.
