BOURBON
Cultivar da espécie Coffea arabica L.
Nota 1: Ele primeiramente foi cultivado no Rio de Janeiro, depois foi levado para Cravinhos e Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo, onde se mostrou mais produtivo que o café Típica (Nacional) cultivado na região; Após meio século foi desbancado pelo seu sucessor, Bourbon Amarelo, de porte maior e mais produtivo.
A cultivated variety of the species Coffea arabica L.
Note 1: It was first cultivated in Rio de Janeiro state, then it was taken to Cravinhos and Ribeirão Preto, two inner cities of São Paulo state, where it was more productive than the Típica coffee (National) that was cultivated in the region; After half of a century it was surpassed by its successor, Yellow Bourbon, that has a bigger size and is more productive.
