Nota 1 e 2: Sua área de incidência é muito extensa desde Bahia e Goiás até o Piauí. Ela tem de 12-15 m de altura e tronco grosso. Com flores grandes amarelo-vivo e frutos verde-amarelo, do tamanho de uma laranja, que contém 1-4 sementes grandes.
