PITANGA-DE-MOITA
Arbusto pequeno da família Myrtaceae, da espécie Eugenia sellowiana DC.
Nota 1 e 2: É nativa e frequente nos cerrados de Minas Gerais. Sua altura raramente ultrapassa 1,0 m. É mesmo moita, tomentoso, cespitoso, com tomento recobrindo ambas as páginas, curtopecioladas, ápice apiculado. Flores axilares e poucas. Seu fruto é globoso, amarelo, medindo 2,0 cm de largura, em média, e de bom sabor.

Note 1 and 2: It is native and common in the cerrados of Minas Gerais Brazilian state. Its height rarely exceeds 1 m. It is indeed thicket/bush, tomentose, cespitose, with tomentous recovering both leaves, little petiolate ones, and apiculate apex. Axillary flowers and few of them. Its fruit is rounded, yellow, with 2 cm wide on average, and of good taste.
