Subarbusto da família Myrtaceae, da espécie Eugenia triphylla Berg.
Nota 1 e 2: É nativo, mas pouco frequente nos cerrados de Minas Gerais. Ele cespitoso (que forma touceiras), não-ramificado. Possui caule glabro, flores sobre pedicelos axilares, curtos, com sépalas e bractéolas ciliadas. Possui frutos saborosos e alongados.

A subshrub of the family Myrtaceae, of the species Eugenia triphylla Berg.
Note 1 and 2: It is native of Brazil, but little frequent, in the cerrados of Minas Gerais state. It is cespitose (clumping) and not branched. It has glabrous stem, flowers on axillary and short pedicels, with sepals and ciliary bracteoles. It has tasty and elongated fruits.
