Nota 1 e 2: Ela é nativa da Bahia e de Minas Gerais e se sobreleva na vegetação densa dos pântanos e cabeceiras d’água, sendo abundante nas barrancas do São Francisco. Ela é de porte pouco elevado, mas airosa e esbelta. O fruto é cheiroso, mas não-comestível.

Note 1 e 2: It is from Bahia and Minas Gerais states, and it overpasses in the dense vegetation of the swamps and headwaters, being abundant on the ravines of São Francisco River. It is short but graceful and elegant. Its fruit is aromatic, but it is not edible.
