Liana de gavinhas da família Apocynaceae, da espécie Landolphia parvifolia K. Schum.
Nota 1 e 2: É originária da África tropical, da Nigéria à Angola e Quênia. Ela se desenvolve por 35 m de comprimento por 15 cm de diâmetro, muito ramificada, com casca de látex branco. Folhas opostas, simples, acuminadas; inflorescências de 2-100 flores hermafroditas, branco-amareladas; frutos bagas amarelas, alaranjadas ou pardas, diâmetro de 2-8 cm; polpa branca ou amarelada, acidulada, comestível.

Note 1 and 2: It is from tropical Africa, from Nigeria to Angola and Kenya. It develops reaching 35 m long x 15 cm of diameter, very branched, with white latex shell. Opposite, simple, and acuminate leaves; inflorescences of 2-100 hermaphrodite and white yellowish flowers; yellow berries fruits, orange or brown ones, with 2-8 cm of diameter; white or yellowish pulp, acid and edible.
