Planta entouceirada da família Polemoniaceae, da espécie Polemonium coeruleum L. (P. sabriricum Don.)
Nota 1 e 2: Ela é originária da Ásia. Ela é lisa ou viscoso-pubescente, ereta, atingindo até 0,60 m de altura. Suas folhas são alternas, penadas, ovadas ou ovado-lanceoladas, agudas, inteiras ou divididas. Suas flores são azuis, em grande número, em corimbo compacto no ápice dos caules, que apresentam mucilagem, gosto amargo e cheiro desagradável. Utilizada como medicinal, sobretudo como diurética a anti-sifilítica e ornamental.

Note 1 and 2: It is from Asia. It is flat or viscous pubescent, straight, reaching 0.60 m of height. Its leaves are alternated, pennate, oval or oval lanceolate, acute, whole or divided. Its flowers are blue in great number in compact corymbs in the stem apex, which have mucilage, sour taste and bad odor. It is used as medicinal with diuretic and anti-syphilis properties.
