Hortaliça da família Aizoacea, da espécie Tetragonia expansa Murray.
Nota 1 e 2: Ele é originário da Nova Zelândia e da Austrália. Ele tem caule de crescimento rasteiro, folhas menores que o espinafre verdadeiro, podendo substituí-lo, com a vantagem de apresentar rusticidade e cultivo durante todo o ano. A colheita é feita cortando os ramos terminais e deixando uma haste para o crescimento da planta. O produto é comercializado em maços com o peso de 3 a 4kg.

Note 1 and 2: It is from New Zealand and Australia. Its stem has a foraging growth, its leaves are smaller than the real spinach. It can substitute it due to its rusticity and annual crop. The harvest is carried out cutting the terminal branches remaining an apex for the plant growth. The final product can be commercialized in sheaves of 3 to 4 kg of weight.
