Planta ornamental da família Cactaceae, da espécie Selenicereus grandifloras Britt & Rose (Cactus grandiflorus L., Cactus grandifloras Mill.).
Nota 1 e 2: Ela é originária do Golfo do México e das Antilhas, difundiu-se por todos os parques e jardins do mundo. Ela é conhecida pelas suas grandes, brancas e perfumadas flores (15-20 cm), que se abrem à noite e se fecham pela manhã bem cedo.
An ornamental plant of the family Cactaceae, of the species Selenicereus grandifloras Britt & Rose (Cactus grandiflorus L., Cactus grandifloras Mill.).
Note 1 and 2: It is from the Gulf of Mexico and the Antilles. It has widespread itself to all world parks and yards. It is well known because of its big white perfumed flowers (15-20 cm), which open at night and close early in the morning.
