Planta ornamental da família Convolvulaceae, da espécie Quamoclit quamoclit Britton (Convolvulus prinnatus Lam., C. quamoclit Spreng, Ipomoea quamoclit L., Q. pinnata Bojr., Q. vulgaris Choisy).
Nota 1 e 2: Ela é amplamente cultivada no Brasil e no mundo. Ela é anual, caules entrelaçados e breves. As folhas são pecioladas, alternas, ovadas, podendo atingir até 18 cm, penadas em segmentos filiformes, pedúnculos axilares, com 1-6 flores, que são tubulosas, vermelhas, róseas ou brancas e pentalobadas.

Note 1 and 2: It is highly cropped in Brazil and in the world. It is annual, twisted short stems. Its leaves are petiolate, alternate, oval, which can reach until 18 cm, pennate in filiform segments, axillar peduncles, with 1-6 flowers. They are tubular, red, pink or white with five lobes.
