Nota 1 e 2: Ele encontra-se distribuída do Texas (EUA) até o Brasil. Ele tem tronco ereto, ramificado, folhas profundamente palmatipartidas, lisas, verde-claras na face inferior, lobos estreitos recortados. As flores são encarnadas, quando usadas em conjunto. Desenvolve-se bem a partir de sementes e de estacas de ramos jovens enraizados na areia.
An ornamental shrub of the family Euphorbiaceae, of the species Jathropha multifida L.
Note 1 and 2: It is distributed from Texas (USA) until Brazil. It has an erect branchy trunk, with palm leaves, which are smooth, light green color on the inferior face with narrow cut lobes. Its flowers are vivid when in a set. It develops itself from seeds and stalks of young branches rooted in the sand.
