Nome popular a um grupo de árvores da família Moraceae, do gênero Ficus, das espécies: 1) Ficus doliaria Mart. (F. ferruginea Hort., F. gameleira Hort., Urostigma doliarium Miq., Urostigma gameleira Miq.), 2) Ficus vermifuga Engl. (C. Pharmacosycea vermífuga Miq.), 3) Ficus eximia Schott (F. glabra Vell., Urostigma eximium Miq.) e 4) Ficus insipida Willd. (F. anthelminthica Mart., Pharmacosycea anthelminthica Miq.).
Nota 1: Elas são nativas do Brasil, habitando desde o estado do Amazonas, Pará, Ceará, por terras litorâneas e interiores, até o Paraná.
