Nota 1 e 2: Ela é originária dos EUA. É herbácea, perene, ramificada, cuja altura varia de 0,3 a 2,0 m. Suas folhas são ovado-lanceoladas, ásperas ao tato, verdes e opacas. Suas flores apresentam-se em capítulos isolados, amarelos, com parte central marrom ou amarela. Desenvolve-se bem a pleno sol, sendo utilizada em jardins, tanto em bordaduras como em jardineiras.

Its flowers are arranged in isolated yellow chapters with brown or yellow inner part. It grows well in sunlight, being used in border and pot gardens.
