GNETÁCEAS
Família de arbustos com três gêneros: 1) Ephedra, 2) Gnetum e 3) Thoa.
Nota 2: Eles são sarmentosos de caule anômalo, ramos nodosos e articulados. As folhas são simples opostas, às vezes reduzidas a escamas, aparecendo não ter folhas. As flores são unissexuais, monoicas, monoperiantadas, ou dioicas com perianto em forma de saco. A inflorescência é solitária e axilar, ou em espigas, ou em panículas verticiladas e aglomeradas.

Note 2: They have runners of an anomalous stem, nodulous and articulated braches. Their leaves are simple and opposite, sometimes reduced to scales, resembling not having them. Their flowers are unisexual, monoecious, mono perianth or dioecious with a bag shape perianth. Their inflorescence is single and axillar or in spikes or even in whirlwind and bunched panicles.
