Arbusto ou árvore frutífera da família Myrtaceae, da espécie Psidium densicomum Mart.
Nota 1 e 2: Ela habita as terras marginais às águas de superfície do Alto Amazonas. Ela tem porte variável, desde arbusto até árvores de 8 m de altura. As folhas são pecioladas, ovado-oblongas, acuminadas, membranosas, luzidias, glabras. As flores estão reunidas em pedicelos axilares 1-3 floros. Os frutos são bagas amarelas, globosas, medindo de 1,5-2 cm de diâmetro, de sabor azedo, porém comestível, mas pouco apreciado.

Note 1 and 2: It habits the high banks of surface water of the Amazon River. It has varied heights, from shrubs to trees of 8 m of height. Its leaves are petiolate, oval or oblong, acuminate, membranous, shiny and glabrous. Its flowers are arranged in axillar pedicels of 1-3 flowers. Its fruits are yellow globous berries of 1.5-2 cm of diameter, of sour taste, but edible of little interest.
