Nota 1 e 2: Ele é nativo do Sri Lanka, do oeste da Índia e da Malásia, raramente encontrado no Brasil. É do tamanho de uma laranja, globoso, dotado de um bico na extremidade, sulcado por 8 vincos profundos, liso, avermelhado ou alaranjado. Seu suco serve para temperar peixes, tal como o limão.
