GRAMA-BATATAIS
Gramínea da família Gramineae, da espécie Paspalum notatum Flugge, com três variedades principais: typicum, saurae e latiflorum.
Nota 1 e 2: Ela é nativa da América Central e Sul e espontânea nos campos arenosos do litoral sul do Brasil. Ela é perene, forrageira, pilosa, adaptando-se facilmente ao ambiente seco, agressiva de implantação rápida, mas não constitui forragem de pasto de qualidade.

Note 1 and 2: It is native of Central and South America and grows spontaneously in the sandy fields of the south coast of Brazil. It is perennial, foraging, hairy, adapting itself easily to dry environments. It has an aggressive and fast implantation but it is not considered a field foraging of good quality.
