GRÃO-DE-PORCO-COMUM
Árvore da família Boraginaceae, da espécie Cordia grandiflora HBK (Varronia grandiflora Desv., V. lantanoides Willd.).
Nota 1 e 2: Ela ocupa o estado do Pará até a Argentina. Apresenta folhas pecioladas, oblongas, agudas, crenado-denteadas, pilosa na face inferior. As flores são alvas, campanuladas, abundantes e arranjadas em capítulos globosos. O fruto é uma drupa mucilaginosa, adstringente e comestível.

Note 1 and 2: It occurs from Pará state in Brazil until Argentina. Its leaves are petiolate, oblong, acute, crenate-teethed and hairy on the inferior face. Its flowers are white, in abundant campanulas arranged in globous chapters. Its fruit is a mucilaginous, astringent and edible drupe.
