GRAVATÁ-DO-MATO
Planta da família Bromeliaceae, da espécie Bromelia binoti Morren.
Nota 1 e 2: Ela é nativa do Espírito Santo e do Rio de Janeiro. Ela apresenta folhas externas como um metro de comprimento, as interiores são coloridas de vermelho-vivo e armadas de espinhos e terminal pungente. O fruto é baga fusiforme pequena, com 6 cm de comprimento, carnosa, peluda, ácida, que amadurece entre março e maio.
A tree of the family Bromeliaceae, of the species Bromelia binoti Morren.
Note 1 and 2: It is native of Espírito Santo and Rio de Janeiro States. It has external leaves with one meter long and internal ones, which are lively red color and armed with thorns and a sharp terminal. Its fruit is a small fusiform berry of 6 cm of length, fleshy, hairy, sour, which ripens within March and April.
