GUABIROBA-DE-DOCE
Arbusto da família Myrtaceae, da espécie Campomanesia reticulata Berg.
Nota 1 e 2: Ela é frequente nos campos e cerrados dos estados de São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais. Pode atingir de 1-4 m de altura, vegetação nova tomentosa, folhas opostas, curto pecioladas, ovado-oblongas, estreitas nas duas extremidades, coriáceas. As flores são brancas em pedúnculos axilares solitários, opostos e unifloros. Os frutos são bagas amarelas com 1cm de largura, 6-7 –locular, aromático, saboroso, comestível e matéria-prima excelente para doces.
A shrub of the family Myrtaceae, of the species Campomanesia reticulata Berg.
Note 1 and 2: It occurs frequently in the fields and cerrados of the states of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais. It can reach 1-4 m of height, tomentose vegetation when young, opposite, short petiole, oval oblong leaves, which are narrow in both extremities and coriaceous. Its flowers are white in single axillar peduncles, which are opposite and singled blossom. Its berries are yellow with 1 cm of width, 6-7-locular, aromatic, tasty, edible and raw material excellent for sweets.
