Árvore da família Myrtaceae, da espécie Campomanesia fenzliana Berg. (Abbevillea fenzliana Berg.).
Nota 1 e 2: Ela ocorre nos estados de Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais e São Paulo. Tornou-se famosa pelas geleias de fina qualidade, obtidas dos seus frutos maduros. Eles são bagas 1-12 –locular, de polpa exuberante. Suas folhas são aromáticas e devidamente pisadas dão refrescante loção.
A medium size tree of the family Myrtaceae, of the species Campomanesia fenzliana Berg. (Abbevillea fenzliana Berg.).
Note 1 and 2: It occurs in the states of Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais and São Paulo. It has become famous due to its high quality jellies produced from the ripen fruits. They are berries 1-12-locular, of abundant pulp. Its leaves are aromatic and if the treading is carried out properly, a refreshing lotion is obtained.
