GUAJABOTA-DO-MÉXICO
Árvore da família Ebenaceae, da espécie Diospyros digyta Jacq. (D. ebenester Retz., D. brasiliensis Mart.).
Nota 1 e 2: Ela é originária do México e cultivada modestamente nos Estados Unidos e nas Filipinas. Ela pode atingir de 6-10 m de altura, folhas oblongo-elípticas, flores alvas e fragrantes. Seu fruto é do tamanho de uma laranja ou maior, 5-15 cm de diâmetro, verde por fora, preto interiormente, com perfume doce, com alto conteúdo de tanino.

Note 1 and 2: It is from Mexico and mildly cropped in the USA and the Philippines. It can reach from 6-10 m of height, oblong and elliptical leaves, white and perfumed flowers. Its fruits are of the size of an orange or bigger, from 5-15 cm of diameter, green outside but black inside, of sweet scent and a high concentration of tannin.
