GUAPORANGA
Árvore pequena da família Myrtaceae, da espécie Marlierea tomentosa Camb.
Nota 1 e 2: Ela habita os terrenos úmidos das matas litorâneas de São Paulo e Santa Catarina. Suas folhas são opostas, simples, inteiras, pecioladas e elípticas. Suas flores são dispostas em panículas axilares ou subterminais, com comprimento médio de 20 cm, multifloras. Seus frutos são bagas ovoides com 1,2-1,6 cm de largura, tomentosas, roxos-pretas, saborosas, contendo 1-2 sementes.

Note 1 and 2: It inhabits the wood coast humid lands of the states São Paulo and Santa Catarina. Its leaves are opposite, simple, whole, petiolate and elliptical. Its abundant flowers are disposed in axillar and sub terminal panicles with an average length of 20 cm. Its fruits are ovoid berries of 1.2-1.6 cm of width, tomentose, purplish black, tasteful, with 1-2 seeds.
