Planta da família Iridacea, da espécie Ixia flexuosa L.
Nota 1 e 2: Ela é originária da África do Sul. Ela é herbácea, de 40-60 cm de altura, de folhas ornamentais laminares e delicadas. As inflorescências são flexíveis, com 5-15 flores de brácteas arroxeadas e de pétalas rosas ou brancas com nervuras lilases. As flores só abrem em dia de sol, no final do inverno e na primavera e são duráveis quando cortadas.

Note 1 and 2: It is from South Africa. It is herbaceous, of 40-60 cm of height, with laminar and delicate ornamental leaves. The inflorescences are flexible with 5-15 flowers of purplish bracts and pink or white petals with lilac veins. The flowers only open during the day, in the end of winter and in spring and they last long after cutting.
