Planta daninha da família Poligonaceae, da espécie Rumex crispus L.
Nota 1 e 2: De origem europeia, infesta pastagens, jardins, pomares, culturas anuais, beiras de estrada e terrenos baldios. Suas flores são verdes durante o florescimento e marrons na maturidade. Possui propriedades medicinais e sua raiz é tônica, laxativa e depurativa. É útil na obesidade, na tosse seca, na asma dos tísicos, na laringite crônica e no reumatismo muscular do tórax.

Note 1 and 2: It is from Europe, and it infests pastures, gardens, orchards, annual cultures, roadsides and wastelands. Its flowers are green during the flowering and brown when they get mature. It has medical properties and its root is tonic, laxative and depurative. It is useful in obesity, dry cough, asthma, chronic laryngitis, and muscular rheumatism of the chest.
