Nome vulgar de duas espécies de plantas herbáceas da família Compositae,(segundo Cronquist, família Asteraceae),sendo uma de origem européia (Arnica montana) e outra americana (Porophyllum ruderale).
Nota 2: Ambas são usadas como tintura contra contusões, além de serem cardiotônicas e estimulantes do sitema circulatório, nas apoplexias.

A vulgar designation of two species of herbaceous plants of the family Compositae,(according to Cronquist, of the family Asteraceae). One species is from Europe (Arnica montana) and the other is north american (Porophyllum ruderale).
Note 2: Both are used as tincture against contusions, besides being cardiotonic and stimulant of the blood circulatory system in the apoplexy.
