Árvore frutífera da família Anarcadiaceae, espécie Lithraea molleoides Engl.(Schinus molleoides Vell., Lithraea aroeirinha Le March).
Nota 1 e 2: Originária do sul da América do Sul: Rio grande do Sul, Bolívia e Argentina. de 2-8 m de altura. Os frutos globosos, brancacentos, 4-5mm de diâmetro ,têm polpa que, ainda seca, serve para preparar bebida estimulante.

Note 1 and 2: It is from the southern region of South America: Rio Grande do Sul, Bolivia and Argentine.It can reach from 2 to 8 m of height. The fruits are globous, white of 4 to 5mm of diameter. Its pulp even if it is dry can be used to preparare a stimulant beverage.
