ARROZ-DO-DIABO
Planta daninha perene da família Gramineae, do genêro Cenchrus, da espécie Cenchrus echinatus L.
Nota 1 e 2: Infestante de lavouras da região Sul, centro-sul, Nordeste e parte do Centro-oeste do País. Considerada muito indesejável nas áreas cultivadas com algododeiro, pois, além de seus frutos causarem problemas à colheita manual, agarram-se às fibras de tal maneira que é impossível sua remoção.
An invading plant of the family Gramineae, of the gender Cenchrus, of the species C. echinatus L.
Note 1 and 2: It infests mainly the perennial and annual crops of the southern, central-south, northern and center-west regions of the country. It is considered unwanted when cropped with cotton, due to its fruits causing manual harvesting problems impossibilitating their removal. Vulgarization: hedgehog grass.
