Nota 1 e 2: Originária da África. Dicotiledônea, cujo látex é utilizado em diminutas dosagens com propriedades purgativas, anti-sifilíticas, rubefacientes, anti-reumáticas, contra carcinoma, epitelioma benigno, verrugas, picadas de escorpião e cobra. O látex é cáustico e pode destruir a córnea.
