PALOMINO
Casta de uva espanhola of Vitis vinifera.
Nota 1 e 2: Ela é proeminente matéria-prima na elaboração dos vinhos generosos de Jerez, muito conhecida por Listan Comum, uva tão boa para mesa como para vinho. Seu cultivo no Brasil está, por enquanto, limitado a parcelas experimentais em Bento Gonçalves (RS). Ali, sob o comando da Embrapa/Uepae, procipiou produtividade de 14,3t/ha, enxertada sobre Kober 5BB, titulando o mosto 18,5 Brix. Cachos muito longos, cilíndro-cônicos, às vezes alado, medianamente compactos; bagas quase esféricas, gordas, verde-douradas na face isolada, translúcidas, muito doces e saborosas.

Note 1 and 2: It is prominent raw material in the preparation of fortified wines of Jerez, very known as Listan Comum, a so good grape as for tables as for vinification. Its cultivation in Brazil is, for now, limited to experimental plots in Bento Gonçalves city, Rio Grande do Sul state. There, under the command of Embrapa/Uepae, the produtivity was fostered of 14.3t/ha, grafted on Kober 5BB, naming the grape must as 18.5 Brix. Very long bunches, cylindrical-conical, sometimes winged, averagely compact; grape berries almost espherical, large, goldish green on the separated side, translucid, very sweet and tasty.
