Planta ornamental da família Crassulaceae, da espécie Sempervivum glabrata Kth.
Nota 1 e 2: Ela é originária do Velho Mundo e introduzida no Brasil, onde não é difundida e apreciada. Ela é perene, de caule ereto suculento, com aproximadamente 1,0 m de altura, apresentando cicatrizes das folhas caídas e terminando por uma roseta de folhas espatuladas, espessas, carnosas. No ápice apresenta uma panícula compacta formada por flores amarelas.
An ornamental plant of the family Crassulaceae, of the species Sempervivum glabrata Kth.
Note 1 and 2: It is from the Old World and introduced in Brazil without success and importance. It is perennial, of straight and juicy stem, reaching approximately 1.0 m of height with scars from the fallen leaves and ending with a rosetta of spatulate thick and fleshy leaves. At the apex there is a compact panicle formed by yellow flowers.
