SAMAMBAIA-DE-MATO-GROSSO
Planta da família Polypodiaceae, da espécie Polypodium decumanum Willd.
Nota 1 e 2: Ela é encontrada como epífita no tronco das palmeiras do Mato Grosso, entre os pecíolos das folhas. Ela é vigorosa, perene, de folhagem, com frondes grandes, recurvadas, pendentes, pinadas e folíolos grandes, largos, alongados, oriundas de rizomas grossos e pilosos. Cultivada em vasos de terra enriquecida com matéria orgânica, mantidos a meia-sombra e umedecida. Multiplica-se por divisão de rizomas, devendo os segmentos ser acompanhados de raízes e folhas.

Note 1 and 2: It is found as an epiphyte plant in the palm tree trunks of the state of Mato Grosso, between the leaf petioles. It is vigorous, perennial, of foliage with big recurved bending and pinnate fronds, which come from thick and hairy rhizomes. Its follicles are big, large, elongated. It can be cultivated in vases of raw material enriched soil, kept at half-shadow and humidified. It multiplies itself by rhizome division with root and leaf segments.
