A medicinal tree of the family Sapotaceae, of the species Acharas sapota L.
Note 2: It has bright and lactiferous leaves. Its bark tea, not concentrated, has tonic, febrifuge and astringent properties. Its seeds are diuretic and efficient for kidney stones but it can be toxic in high concentrations
