Nota 1 e 2: Ela é procedente da Europa e assumiu grande importância no Brasil, na região Sul e Sudeste. Ela é anual, herbácea, ereta, ramificada, pubescente ou glabra, com raiz pivotante grossa. As sementes são tóxicas, mas as folhas são comestíveis em forma de salada.
