Arbusto da família Ericaceae, da espécie Satyria panurensis Benth. & Hook (Ridelia bahiensis Meissn., R. panurensis Kuntze, Thibaudia panurensis Benth.).
Nota 1 e 2: Ele é nativo do Alto do Amazonas peruano-brasileiro e vegeta nos campos do estado da Bahia. Ele é glabro, de folhas coriáceas, acuminadas, inteiras, verde-oliva, racemos axilares simples, de 5-8 flores. Os frutos são bagas de 7,0 mm de diâmetro, vermelha, coroada pelos lobos do cálice e de sabor ácido, mas que é consumida crua.

Note 1 and 2: It is native of the High Peruvian Brazilian Amazonas and grows in the state of Bahia. It is glabrous, of whole, coriaceous, acuminate olive green leaves in simple axillar racemes of 5-8 flowers. Its fruits are berries of 7.0 mm of diameter, red, crowned by calyx lobes and it has acid taste but can be eaten raw.
