Nome vulgar de várias plantas medicinais das famílias Compositae e Nictaginaceae, das espécies Trixis divaricata Spring e Boerhaavia paniculata.
Nota 2: As cascas da primeira servem para o preparo de remédios oftálmicos e suas raízes têm poder emenagogo. O chá das raízes da segunda é diurético e serve de tratamento contra infecções do fígado e da vesícula biliar.
A vulgar name of several medicinal plants of the families Compositae and Nictaginaceae, of the species Trixis divaricata Spring e Boerhaavia paniculata.
Note 2: The barks of the first species can be used for the preparation of ophthalmic medicines and the roots have emanagogue properties. The root tea from the second species can be used for the treatment of liver and biliary vesicle infections.
