Árvore da família Poligonaceae, da espécie Triplaris brasiliana Cham.
Nota 1 e 2: Ocorre no Mato Grosso do Sul e no oeste de São Paulo. Ela é dioica de 10 a 20 m de altura e 30 a 40 cm de diâmetro, no interior de seu tronco oco abrigam-se formigas. É extremamente ornamental tanto pela copa colunar, como pela beleza do florescimento.

A tree of the family Poligonaceae, of the species Triplaris brasiliana Cham.
Note 1 and 2: It occurs in Mato Grosso do Sul and in the West of São Paulo State. It is dioecious of 10 to 20 m of height and 30 to 40 cm of diameter, in its inner trunk aunts live in. It is extremely ornamental due to its columnar canopy as to its flowering beauty.
