SYRAH
Cultivar de uva da espécie Vitis vinifera.
Nota 1 e 2: Ela é nativa da França, mas tem importância na vitivinicultura da Austrália, África do Sul, Itália, Suíça e Grécia. No Brasil é uma das mais reputadas que são cultivadas no Rio Grande do Sul, e no Vale do São Francisco. É de bom vigor, regularmente produtiva e resistente a doenças fúngicas. As folhas são médias, orbiculares, 5-lobadas, com superfície bolhosa e seio peciolar em lira estreita. Os cachos são grandes, cilíndricos, alados ou compostos, compactos, com bagas médias, ovoides, pretas, de polpa fundente e sabor neutro. É usada para a elaboração de vinhos tintos frutados, para consumo quando jovens.

Its leaves are medium size, orbicular, 5-lobated with a bubbled surface and a straight lira cut in the petiolar sinus. Its bunches have a big, cylindrical, winged or composed compact size, with medium ovoid black berries of a funding pulp and neuter taste. It is used to make fruitful red wines and can be eaten when young.
