RABO-DE-TATU
Planta da família da Orchidaceae e da espécie Cyrtopodium andersonii (Oncidium sprucei Lindl.).
Nota 1 e 2: Ela é nativa muito frequente no Amazonas, na Bahia e em Mato Grosso. Ela é herbácea, bulbosa, exibe grandes cachos de flores de cor amarela e roxa. Suas raízes e bulbos servem para fabricar cola, que se usa em louças, couros e, ainda, no preparo de graxas para sapatos.

Note 1 and 2: It is native and very frequent in the state of Amazonas, Bahia and Mato Grosso in Brazil. It is bulbous, herbaceous, exhibiting big flowers clusters in yellow and purple color. Its roots are used to produce glue, used in dishes, leathers, and even for the production of shoe polish.
