Nota 1 e 2: Ela é nativa da China e Japão. Ela é herbácea anual, de 40 a 50 cm de altura, com ramagem áspera e folhas denteadas, ovaladas e pilosas. As flores pequenas formam capítulos grandes, solitários, simples ou dobrados, com variedades brancas, azuis, roxas e violeta. É notável como produtora de flores de corte, bem como para bordadura e conjuntos de jardins a pleno sol, e terra rica em húmus, de boa drenagem e irrigada periodicamente. É tolerante a baixas temperaturas. Multiplica-se por sementes, que devem ser postas para germinação no inverno, florescendo na primavera e no verão
A flower of the family Compositae and of the species Callistephus chinensis Ness.
Note 1 and 2: It is native of China and Japan. It is annual and herbaceous having 40 to 50 cm of height, with rough branches and serrated oval and hairy leaves. The little flowers form big, lonely sections, simple or folded, with white, blue, purple and violet varieties. It is prominent as a producer of cut flowers, as well as curbstone, and garden sets on full sun, and lands rich in humus with a good drainage and periodically irrigated. Its is tolerant to low temperatures. It is multiplied by seeds, which has to be put into germination in winter, blooming in spring and in summer.
